Google launches Gemini Enterprise
The new platform connects data from Workspace Microsoft 365 Salesforce and more letting companies build manage and automate AI agents securely
☕ Good morning,
Something is revealing about how companies handle breaches versus how they handle product launches.
Google rolling out Gemini Enterprise gets the polished press release treatment with pricing tiers and customer testimonials, while Discord's vendor breach gets the "we're downplaying this but also reassuring you we're taking it seriously" response.
—Here’s to the first sip.

Google launches Gemini Enterprise

Google has launched Gemini Enterprise, a new AI platform under Google Cloud that helps businesses build and deploy their own AI agents. Unlike the older Workspace add-ons, this version is a full enterprise toolkit designed to connect company data, automate workflows, and run AI securely across teams.
Through a single Gemini chatbot, employees can access and combine data from Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Salesforce, SAP, and internal systems. It also includes prebuilt research agents, a no-code builder for automation, and governance tools to manage and secure all agents from one dashboard.
Big names like Figma, Klarna, Macquarie Bank, and Virgin Voyages are already using it, with Virgin deploying more than 50 custom agents. Pricing starts at $30 per seat per month, or $21 for smaller teams, with a 30-day free trial.
With Gemini Enterprise, Google is clearly stepping up against OpenAI’s ChatGPT Enterprise and Anthropic’s Claude, aiming to make Gemini the central hub for AI in the workplace.

Discord data breach exposed 70K IDs

Image: Discord
Discord has confirmed that about 70,000 users may have had their government ID photos exposed in a recent customer service data breach. Still, the company says the situation is being exaggerated by hackers trying to extort them.
The leak stems from a compromised third-party vendor, not Discord itself. The affected system was part of Zendesk, which handled customer support and age verification appeals. While some online claims suggested over 2 million photos were stolen, Discord says those numbers are false and part of an extortion attempt.
The company says all impacted users have been notified and that it has cut ties with the vendor, secured systems, and is working with law enforcement and security experts. Beyond ID photos, data like names, emails, usernames, IPs, and the last four digits of credit cards may also have been exposed.
Discord emphasized it won’t pay those behind the attack and is reinforcing its systems to prevent similar breaches in the future.

Knapsack raises $10M to unite design, code, and AI

Image: Knapsack
Design and engineering teams often lose sync, bouncing between tools like Figma and Git and ending up with inconsistent designs and wasted time. Knapsack wants to change that by creating a shared platform where every design update automatically syncs with the code and documentation, keeping everything aligned across products and brands.
The company raised $10 million in Series A funding, bringing its total to $20.8 million, and is adding new AI-powered tools. One is an MCP server that lets teams build AI agents using models like ChatGPT or Gemini while staying on-brand. Another, the ingestion engine, can set up a company’s full system of record in just days instead of months.
CEO Chris Strahl says one pharma client cut launch times from 15 months to 3 months using Knapsack. With about 30 employees, Knapsack plans to grow and position itself as the go-to platform for design, engineering, and AI collaboration in enterprise teams.
