GTA VI delayed again
Rockstar says the extra time will help polish the long-awaited return to Vice City and deliver its biggest open world yet
☕ Good morning,
There's something darkly poetic about GTA VI's delay cycle. Rockstar has essentially trained an entire generation of gamers to accept "when it's ready" as a business model, and honestly? It's working. No riot in the streets. No mass cancellations.
Just resigned acceptance that perfection takes however long the people holding the product decide it takes.

Google brings Gemini to Maps

Image: Google
Google is turning Maps into a full-on AI co-pilot with Gemini built right in. You can now talk to it while driving ask about restaurants along your route, check traffic, hear sports updates, or even tell it to add something to your calendar, all without touching your phone.
Gemini can also hold a conversation, so you can say something like, “Find me a vegan restaurant within two miles… what’s parking like there?” and it’ll keep refining the results. It can even report traffic incidents automatically and warn you about problems ahead before you hit them.
Navigation is getting smarter too. Instead of saying “turn right in 500 feet,” Maps will now use real landmarks like gas stations or restaurants using data from Street View and 250 million places around the world.
You’ll also be able to point your camera at a spot using Google Lens and ask Gemini what it is or why it’s popular.
In India, Google’s giving Maps a big local upgrade with speed limits, road safety alerts, and real-time highway data from the National Highways Authority of India. Gemini will also support nine Indian languages, and even give proactive notifications about delays or diversions in major cities.

GTA VI delayed again..

Image: Rockstar
GTA VI is getting delayed again now it’s set to launch on November 19, 2026. Rockstar says it needs a few more months to give the game the polish it deserves, which honestly isn’t surprising given how long fans have already been waiting.
The game was first supposed to drop in 2025, then pushed to May 2026, and now this. Take-Two’s CEO says they’re sticking to this new date confidently, saying Rockstar only delays when it’s absolutely necessary to make sure the game hits their quality bar.
GTA VI takes players back to Vice City, set in the larger state of Leonida, following Jason and Lucia, two criminals trying to survive after a heist gone wrong. The story promises a mix of chaos, sun, and classic Rockstar drama, all in a massive open world built for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
There’s been some noise around Rockstar lately, with reports of employee firings tied to leaks, but the company says it’s not related to union activity.

Amazon launches Kindle Translate

Image: Amazon
Amazon rolled out Kindle Translate, a new AI translation tool built into Kindle Direct Publishing. It’s meant to help authors translate their books and reach new readers without spending thousands on human translators.
Right now it’s in beta, translating between English and Spanish and German to English, but more languages are coming soon. Amazon says only about 5% of Kindle books exist in multiple languages, so this could make a huge difference for indie authors trying to grow globally.
The tool works directly in the KDP dashboard, where writers can pick languages, preview translations, and publish instantly. Amazon says the AI checks accuracy automatically, but let’s be real if you don’t speak the target language, you’ll still want someone to double-check it.
Translated books will show up with a “Kindle Translate” label, and readers can preview the translation before buying. For now, it’s completely free, which makes it a solid option for smaller authors testing international markets.

OpenAI plans $1.4 trillion push to power the AI future

Image: Bloomberg
Sam Altman just dropped some wild numbers about OpenAI’s future. He says the company’s on track to cross $20 billion in annual revenue this year and plans to pour around $1.4 trillion into data centers and infrastructure over the next eight years. That’s not billion, trillion.
Altman also laid out a few hints about where OpenAI’s heading next. The company’s building out enterprise tools (it already has over a million business customers), working on consumer hardware with Jony Ive’s team rumored to be a palm-sized AI device and even exploring AI-driven scientific discovery through a project called OpenAI for Science.
He also said OpenAI might start selling compute power directly, basically becoming an AI cloud provider for other companies that need massive GPU access.
As for funding all this; Altman says they’ll stick to traditional methods selling equity and taking loans no government-backed shortcuts.
